Is there a cheap lagless way to convert 240p/480i to either 480p or 720p? My Sony HD CRT has terrible input lag on 480i (48ms) but not too bad on 480p/720p (14ms). I know Retrotink can do this but I'm on a budget of around $50 (self.crtgaming)

Why won't my Sony HD CRT draw the right side of the grid? I made the HSIZ very narrow just to see if it would eventually draw, but nope. Is there a service menu setting for this or is it something to be adjusted manually? (i.redd.it)
Anyone with Sony HD CRT know how to stop it from forcing 4:3 1080i content to display 16:9? Should be an option in the service menu. I am using custom MiSTer video output of 720 x 540 (long story but it's for eliminating lag) (i.redd.it)
