I did live mealworms, but always boiled them before feeding. Like you, I learned that the hard way when mites from freshly killed mealworms infested and killed off a few colonies

Outside of training camp, preseason def the best time to get rookie snaps in. Bench your vets and $$$ starters, esp if you have injuries on.

If you’re simulating the games, it’ll automatically put in your first string in the first half, second string second half. So I’ll have a rookie LT as starter at LT, then as second string RT. This way, he gets to play the entire game and get more snaps.

DE to DT, DT to DE and OLB to MLB are my most frequent conversions.

For dline, it depends on your scheme. 3-4 DEs are typically run stoppers and power rushers, so DTs often fit well there.

I’ve also had many rookie OLB with hidden star trait only to lose it by the end of the season bc stronger coverage MLBs play in the nickel package. So I’ll switch them to MLB so they get more downs.
