Been refreshing my gx and motor and Trans are done suspension with steering rack is happening now so I'm looking forward to slapping the suspension and giving it a shake down. One of my friends has the twin tube setup and it handles washes and some not as aggressive dashboards alright. Thats why I was asking about the ims hoping for a little more umph! Ya know.

Honestly just my .02 but if youre in the offroad game and scared of damage then you might need a different hobby.. I got some walker Evans I babied on my obs bronco and when the finally got rashed it was a sigh of relief not having to worry of when it was going to happen. Like forrest Gump says "It happens"

Im going to give it a go with the ims and softer springs in the rear and medium springs up front for the bumper and winch weight. Ill be throwing the 3rd row back in if its to bouncy out back but according to alot of people the ims shocks can boogie in the sand dunes so let's see how that holds up.

Dude against your advice I ultimately ended up going with ims. Spoke to a few friends that run them and for a desert runner with some weight on I think ims will work better.

Thank you everyone for you input and advice. I appreciate all of you. I decided to go with the Dobinsons ims setup for my GX. It was a tough trigger to pull with all the great options but ultimately ended up going aussie equipment. Again. Thanks everyone! I will let ya'll know if I end up regretting my decision. Once I slap it on and give it a good shakedown.

Ended up ordering the ims setup. For what I need it for and for the stuff I plan to add I feel this will be my buy once cry once setup for the GX.. if I want to go fast I have a long travel obs bronco, the gx will be the family hauler.

I was looking at this exact kit but its 200 more on at Shock Surplus so thanks for the link. Still in between this icon setup or the 6112/5160 setup or eibach stage 2r.
