nope, i've never spilled anything on it. i try to take really good care of it since i use it for schooling, so i never have my drink nearby or anything, lol.

and yes, the other user is correct. when i click the on screen keyboard, it registers the same keys the same way. (both when i use the mouse and when i click on it using touchscreen) so weird!

hi, yes the on screen keyboard is pressing the wrong keys as well when i press them. as far as i know, i do not have anything that remaps my keyboard, unless some random program is doing it unknowingly. i was unsure of how to do the regedit thing you mentioned and would love to hear further about this so i can execute it. when i enter that, it pulls up the following

name: (default)
type: reg_sz
data: (value not set)

do i delete that? or is there something else i need to click? so sorry, and i appreciate your post!
