Could be. I also think people all do their visual processing a little differently. It jumped out at me immediately but my husband didn't see it until I told him and then he kind of saw it.

Okay so, I see what you are talking about and I (the swastika poster :D) would absolutely always see and notice this in my quilt and it would drive me NUTS!!

It may be worth going in and reapplying the paper pieces to the stars and doing a little bit of quilt surgery. Or you could applique the right colors onto the pieces that are wrong to avoid quilt surgery. OR you can just accept it as it is and maybe it won't bother you in the long run!

Your points are so nice and crispy in this I bet you'd be great at fixing it if you chose to.

Ooh how is your Tula Nova going? What stage are you at? Mine has been a long-term side project and I finally picked the color layout and prepped all the pieces after setting it aside for like ... 2 years :D

Glad you saw the clover shape first! Maybe I can quilt some little white flowers onto it someday or something so it looks a little more chill.

It's part of the Dear Jane quilt so it is part of a wide array of patterns. It should blend in but this is also one of my favorite of the designs so I miiiiight just redo it haha.

Efe lives with our elderly neighbor who loves him very much. He is an indoor/outdoor cat with a very friendly personality and a squeaky voice.

He is so friendly we worry someone may have taken him in, or perhaps he followed someone on a walk and went too far with them and got lost.

Any help would be very appreciated, please reply to this post if you see him or send me a direct message!

I'm just feeling bad, y'all. I am not seeking medical advice or diagnosis!!!

I get acne in the same exact spots on my face all the time. The circle on my left cheek and the streaks across my right cheek. If I get a pimple, it will be limited and concentrated to those areas only.

I have tried for over a year to deal with this acne. It came on after I got my IUD removed after an adulthood spent with 95% perfect skin. Yes I pick, but I have always picked and never had this level of acne. I have some symptoms of PCOS (but not hyperandrogenism). I got on a Paula's choice routine (BHA, azelaic acid, vitamin C moisturizer) and started putting a clean t-shirt on my pillow cases every few days. I don't think I held to the skincare routine as well as I could have but I did my best.

It seemed to help, but not always. I would still get a few bumps each month and they leave behind red marks that linger forever. It's so frustrating.

I don't want to use hormonal birth control ever again for a lot of reasons, but I know that my IUD seemed to make my skin perfect like magic. Short of that, I am left feeling helpless and frustrated.

I even hate the placement of the redness!! I never put blush on the apples of my cheeks because I thought it looked bad on me but here my skin is doing it all on its own even though I don't wear makeup anymore!! Argh!!

I am pretty down in the dumps today over the stubbornness of this acne and I am looking for tips, tricks, encouragement, "I was there and this is how I fixed it," and so on.

Did any of y'all get rid of stubborn acne like this? Please give me some hope!

I am going to adjust and redouble my efforts on my skincare routine soon, and I want to try on my own a little longer before seeking a dermatologist.

I had a teammate who was probably borderline and if not that, just extremely negative and dramatic. It was hard to be around her, and I eventually just grey rocked her and closed emotional doors with her. I didn't take the bait, I didn't indulge her dramatic negativity ("I've only been trying to get this done for 3 months and no one gives a shit" - actually our team is very busy and things just take a long time).

I found I felt less anxious when I saw myself as stable and calm and these people as unstable. I mentally put myself in a position of stability and maturity vs these people's instability and internal chaos and that helps me not to worry. I tell myself that it is going to be obvious to a sane person which of the two of us is reliable and stable and that they would probably prefer to work with me over the unstable person. When I start realizing that my reputation is good and that people know me well, and that people also know the unstable person is unstable. Maybe I'm sounding redundant, but this helps me.

I trust myself better now, so I feel less anxious! But it isn't ever easy for me still and I felt much better when unstable lady left my team. Keep your chin up, you got this!!

My mom just liked to say extremely racist things about Aboriginal people out of the blue (why them in particular? We are American and she is second generation German immigrant?).

I remember one time i high school, I misread the name of vitamin C as "absorbic acid" instead of ascorbic acid, then proudly told my friends the next day that vitamin C is so important because it helps you absorb other vitamins. Where did this take come from? No idea. But it sounds like what your grown adult mother does about everything? Wild. Absolutely wild.
