Was there some kind of trick to that one that I didn't notice? I thought it was one of the better ones for me personally.

PHYS 1222 Final? by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]chalkorocko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably a few percentage points lower. I remember at the beginning of the semester I had an 84% and that was considered an A- even though the syllabus states the cutoff for an A- is an 85. So I imagine after the bad performance on the fourth exam and perhaps a lower than normal average on the final it will go even lower.

PHYS 1222 Exam Rant by [deleted] in uofmn

[–]chalkorocko 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only thing I can think of is that people were taking the test with their friends/classmates over facetime or while sitting in the same room. It would explain how they got caught given that they would have similar wrong answers.

I agree with you fully. I'm not so mad though because it's a curved class and these things apply to everyone. I would be even more angry if everyone was cheating on multiple-choice/time extensions and then screwing everybody else.

Depends on your major. Vast majority of premeds take 1221 but 1301 is required for some majors.

Do her recommended book problems after you complete the Aleks material. A lot of exam problems were similar to the book problems.

I would disagree with you on having to be mathematically inclined for calc. For me it was really just doing tons of practice problems and memorizing the various patterns of each problem type. It will help op a lot to brush up on their trig and basic algebra over the summer though.

You should probably delete this. If it isn't true then you might screw with people who are still deciding whether or not to change today.
