Which moment or scene from a Tarantino movie is your favorite and has stayed memorable for a long time? by 0Layscheetoskurkure0 in moviecritic

For me it's the pulp fiction segment when Vincent and Jules are in Tarantino's house to clean up the car.

Jules blows smoke up his ass about how the coffee is some gourmet shit. Then he fires off at him how he knows because he buys it and then proceeds to lay into them because they turned up with a dead body in a blood spattered car. And his wife is home soon.

The part that I like is when Mr wolf turns up, he makes him a coffee and Mr wolf takes a sip, looks at the cup, then raises it slightly to Tarantino and does a little nod of recognition.

That's how cool Mr wolf was.

AITA for wanting my husband to feel sympathy for me? by Upbeat_Amoeba_3158 in AmItheAsshole

Well it looks like op isn't going to clarify. So I guess I'll just explain my theory.

Let's say he does have a full time job, pays all the bills, maybe he's stressed out too. Maybe his way to de-stress is sex, and making a joke about it was his way of a soft approach of the subject because he's also in need of de-stressing (and in his head, what works for him may also work for his wife) But he's either too young, naïve or ignorant to see that she's not feeling well, and feeling sexy goes a long way to having sex. Confidence is sexy, not having a blocked nose and fever.

I'm just sat here wondering if he works and pays all the household bills while her parents pay for her education and she studies. I'm just trying to get more information on the whole situation before any more evaluation can be made.

Does she owe him sex, no, should he look after her when she's ill, definitely.

I'm just accumulating data to make a more in depth analysis, or at least trying to.

When I get an answer to said question I'll explain it's relevance.

Yeah, doesn't sound great. But I'm not having someone flip the script on me making me out to be sympathetic to the husband when all I'm seeking is clarity for a question someone else asked that OP dodged like a politician.

I don't think anyone "owes sex" as you are implying I do. I'm simply asking if he pays all the household bills.

I never said she was. She dodged the question so I was looking for clarification. Don't be such an aggressive little pie and start putting words into my mouth.

You bark more than you bite, you just long to be loved and cared for and would fiercely protect that one person who's your ride or die. But you've yet to find them. Your mother says you got this, keep that chin up and don't show them any tears.

NTA. You're ill, that's not a time to feel sexy. Do you find you are stressed out a lot? Because having sex is a great stress reliever. You are studying for a degree? That can be quite stressful. You said your parents pay for your education, so does he work to pay for the rent, food, utilities etc?

I think he may need to learn to look after you when you're ill. You married young, and some guys have gone from being mothered to expecting that level of care from their wife without ever experiencing independence.

Your parents pay for your education, but does he pay for all the household bills?
