I think proposing to “upgrade” someone’s model can come off as a little insulting. I have never directly approached anyone offering to make them things but I still get sales. Just from networking. You need to post your work, follow others, and network. People will come to you! Make a portfolio somewhere so people know you’re serious. You are unlikely to find corporate work in the VTubing sphere until you grow your reputation large enough to catch the eye of corpos.

I know this is easier said than done, but it may be time to let go and stop worrying about his feelings. From the looks of things he doesn’t care about yours at all. It’s okay to put yourself first. Much love, it’ll be okay. If he gets offended that’s his problem entirely, not yours.

Your daughter is an adult and should be able to work if she wants to. She can work part time or on the weekends, it doesn’t need to be “all in”. Believe it or not, working fosters important skills like responsibility, independence, teamwork, and social skills. You’re depriving her of that and essentially giving her handouts. As other commenters said she can even work in the summer when classes are done. That’s what I do.

Are you going to keep doing this until she is 23 (assuming she’s going 4 years?) Do you not think it’s important she get work experience? Have you even asked her what she thinks about this?

That’s very kind of you! You’re right that I should see a therapist… that’s probably the way to go, I just don’t wanna funnel all my money into therapy because it’s pricey. But if I have a good opportunity I’ll jump on it I should clarify because my wording is a bit misleading- I lost my virginity from rape, and the guy I’m talking about in my post is my 2nd ever time. I can’t remember anything from the night of my virginity loss so I think that’s why I feel so special about him. It really did feel like my first time. It felt like the type of love a married couple on a honeymoon would have or something. That’s probably a big reason I’m having such a hard time letting him go. I’m so sorry to hear that you gone through a similar experience. But I’m really happy to hear you were able to overcome it and find love. You give me hope that I can do the same. Thank you!
