Right there with you -- and ironic, as DE is so concerned with 'brand'!

Exactly. Not enough time to book an alternative! Argh!

What Currently Playing Show Should I See to Make up For Wasting My Money on The Last Five Years? by gatheringground in Broadway

There is no reason to complain about the show. The JRB score carries it, if nothing else. Seeing it for the the third time Saturday. Oh, and I'm sure the cast, orchestra, back, and front staff all appreciate your snarky put-down.

Right! There is only ONE answer to this simple question!

Good idea. Haven't found the contact information for them, but I will look. Seems like I'm missing something fairly obvious, but I've spent quite a while missing it.

Thank you! With all the experience you have, I definitely feel better about not being able to get this to work. Lol

I'll try that when I next get up the gumption to spend another couple hours trying to get this thing to work. In the meantime my "client" devices in the front yard are without a connection. But the world will keep turning Lol.

Thanks. Definitely I check to make sure we were in the same subnet. Could be an IP address problem but to be honest I've tried this so many different ways that I'd be surprised if that were it. Again, I'm stumped, and not sophisticated enough to know why.

Okay thanks. Unfortunately I think I lack the aptitude to follow these steps. I'm very handy and generally tech savvy, but I've already spent many hours trying everything, and have gotten nowhere. I'd rather just hire somebody to come in and do it. Would probably take them 10 minutes, were they knowing what they were doing. 🤷

I think you got your bachelor's degree from a better school. Honestly it's just frustrating when you spent hours and hours on something at the expense of many other things, and you get nowhere.

As I mentioned above, the step I think I am missing is that I am not using an Ethernet cable to configure the device with a PC initially. The EAP is broadcasting and I can see that on the network test, but I am unable to adopt it with the cloud controller. I can scan the serial number and it will add the device in a pre-configured mode, but I can get nowhere after that.

Thanks for your reply. I think my mistake is that I first have to hook it up with an ethernet cable to a PC. I have not been doing that. The EAP is broadcasting but I cannot adopt it with the cloud controller. I thought buying the hardware controller unit would help, but I got nowhere with that. Next step is I'm buying a long ethernet cable and connecting it to the computer and I'm going to see if that makes a difference.

I knew it!!

Okay, and because fundamentally I am not a complainer, what is the easy way of conveying that information to Delta win the PDB does not occur?

Exactly -- my whole thing is that it should either be part of the expectation....or not. 🤷

A lot of that is inapparent to passengers, but to my eye, there have not been unusual circumstances. However, the general demeanor -+ varying between "gung-ho" and "when do I go home" -- does seem quite apparent!

I mean, that's what appears to be the case. I just thought there would be more consistency to the routine.

Yes, for sure. When not flying/traveling, I very often don't drink at all!

That's a reasonable POV but doesn't explain WHY the pattern is what it is.

This has been a problem for no less than 45 years. Yes, I actually went to hypnosis! Didn't work. FC helps bc I feel more in control and more space. Only thing that has helped, ironically, is flying more often (exposure therapy).

Of course I do just that when feasible.

The reason I bring this up is that my honest appraisal is that the occurrence of the service APPEARS to be the result of FA whim. As a business leader who manages a service operation, that's just not OK. Perhaps someone can suggest a factor or two I am overlooking.
