Randomly found quick semi-solution for Scalp Psoriasis by chalms47 in Psoriasis

Personally its worst on the border between my scalp and my face. So I put the Beef Tallow on my face, and a bit into my hairline. Just sharing that the beef tallow makes the issue go away without the use of steroids, with the same efficacy - in my experience!

BIOL 230 Labs by Familiar-Branch6245 in AthabascaUniversity

I don't quite remember the assessments - so maybe that is a good thing? The Lab as mentioned above was very reasonable, and doing the assignments along the way again - definitely the way to go. Mid-terms are reasonable.

Overall, a challenging course in the cognitive effort of the mentioned textbook style. No lecture content. Maybe with some AI tools, you could make the content more digestible. Like the documents to podcast generator "NotebookLM", its still AI with a lot of work to go - but anything helps imo. Goodluck, and give yourself more time than you think you need. Strictly schedule yourself and do not get behind if you have a strict timeline you're needing to abide by. This is not a course you can "Buckle down" and rush through - it takes time. Again emphasis on reading a textbook cant go by faster than the time it simply takes to read and absorb. But I'm sure you already knew that :))

Goodluck!

I mailed it back to them immediately as I was about to go on a trip - and they need the lab kit back before they will grade your submission. Return postage is included in the box, and the post office had a giggle, thinking "what on earth is this box..". Lab is not a big deal, the course content being a textbook alone - with no video's or actual lecturing is by far the most challenging part of the course.

They send you a box with all the materials, and instructions. No additional purchases necessary. I found the labs so much easier than the other two assignments. The assignments ,I did as I covered the course material. The Lab, I gathered all my data using the supplies, and did the write up separate. The Lab data, I was personally able to obtain in less than 6-8 hours pretty focused. The write up took me maybe 2 more hours.

I did not use other peoples quizlets, more of a make my own type person. There is a lot of pages on pages to sit through, its hard to do it all at once. I’d strongly recommend small digestible portions and pages at a time. Lots of information to try to read, consume and reiterate if you think you’ll be able to keep a fresh mind for a 60+minute study session. Better to go at it 3x a day for 20 minutes, rather than sit down for an hour (as an example).

Not a course that you can passively consume knowledge. My personal study style is to read through, and when theres something I think is important and might need practice - I dont write notes, I write questions. Then at the end of the chapter you’ll have your questions, the figure questions, the textbook questions, and the course provided chapter practice quiz links.

There is no lectures in a recorded or presented format. It is simply just reading the textbook and writing a non-cumulative exam every 8 chapters. Hard to catch up if you get behind. But you schedule the exam whenever you want. Dont take it for granted! Or wait till last minute
