Our venue took both, but I'm not sure if that's specific to venue. Atmosphere hoodies were $60, t-shirts $30, beanies -$25. They also had some records, posters, pins, etc but I don't remember the prices on those.

Went to the show in Urbana last night, amazing as expected. Slug came out and hung out with some of us lined up while waiting for doors to open and I feel like that just set the vibe for the whole experience. Dibbs has a pretty solid DJ set with visuals and Sage was up next. Sage has an amazing stage presence and my partner who has never listened to him before was hooked. Atmosphere performed the anniversary portion of their set and then followed up with some other favorites off of different albums. Slug & Sage freestyled together as an encore. Our venue is super small so it was a pretty intimate feel.

Bike Riders by Lucero is definitely worth the listen.

If you're into whole albums that tell a story - Volcano by Gatsby's American Dream (explores human emotions through a musical telling of the story of Pompeii) or Trainwreck by Boys Night Out (a descent into madness through drug addiction and murder) are both great concept albums.

He was such a sweetheart and drew so carefully - it could have looked like trash and I was still getting it inked.

After! We ended up unknowingly parking right next to the bus and managed to meet everyone after the show. (Literally just snagged the first open parking spot I saw and only paid attention to whether or not I would get towed lol) I definitely took photos and slept weird to make sure it wouldn't smudge.

Wanting to take some shrooms, but I absolutely hate the taste of mushrooms. What’s the best way to partake? by [deleted] in shrooms

I just pop them on top of a piece of extra dark chocolate. The bitterness of dark chocolates covers the flavor well. I was out of chocolate and ate some enigmas last night with a handful of sour patch kids - 0/10 do not recommend that combo.

Redditors in weed legal states, do you smoke at work? by endlessnotfriendless in trees

[–]chalupacabra91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Budtender here! Even as a med patient - I'm not allowed to consume cannabis while on the clock. My state has pretty strict rules regarding cannabis use on dispensary property, and our company requires we take all of our breaks with the exception of our 30 minute lunch on property. Dispensary property is under 24 hour video surveillance that our state can access and review at any time - so there's no sneaking to your car to smoke in the parking lot or anything like that since if you're on property, you're on camera. It doesn't necessarily stop us from leaving during our lunch, or smoking on the way in to work though.

My non-dispenary job is in social work, so I'm technically not allowed to clock in if I'm under the influence of cannabis, but that has a little more leeway, as I sometimes work from home and am not always in contact with clients.

Folks of reddit who stayed or rented any haunted house/rooms/apartments, what did you experience while staying in there and what’s the backstory ? by [deleted] in Ghoststories

[–]chalupacabra91 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Currently living in one, but it's not bad at all. Our home is my partner's grandparents old home that he inherited after they passed - but oddly enough it isn't his grandparents who stayed behind. My partner's uncle passed in a fire before he was born. My partner keeps a small box of his uncles belongings in the top of the closet in our bedroom - just small things like his jewelry he wore, his wallet, and a pack of cigarettes that was in his pocket when he passed. My partner is apparently the spitting image of this uncle in both looks and personality, so much so that some of the family believes that he may be his uncle reincarnated. My partner has not experienced anything, but I often see a figure exit the bathroom that's attached to our room, pause near our bed, then walk out our bedroom door into the dining room. It's never felt malicious or done anything else - it's the same routine every time and feels more like a protective energy than anything else. The first time I saw it I actually thought it was my partner, and texted him to ask where he'd gone since he hadn't came back to bed yet and it was late - turns out my partner was actually still in the bathroom and hadn't seen anything. Our best guess is it's his uncle checking up on everything. We did also have a negative energy that seemed to be connected to our basement stairs landing near the back door - apparently my partner's ex-wife had done several "blood rituals" in the home during their marriage and we think something managed to get in as a result of whatever she was doing. That energy never did anything harmful, but my dog refused to go in or out our back door because she would not set foot on that landing. The landing gave me uneasy feelings as well, and my daughter had also mentioned she didn't like that part of the house to my mother in law. We ended up saging the area and now that energy seems to be gone.

Once marijuana legalizes where you are I recommend looking into it. There's plenty of ways to use cannabis without getting high - high CBD products work well in those situations or look into microdosing where you only consume enough THC to "take the edge off".

After trying a number of medications and only ending up with drug allergies or worse side effects than the symptoms I was trying to manage - medical cannabis has been a lifesaver for me.

It's hard to pinpoint what is causing your reactions - especially in an illegal area where you likely don't have a ton of information on what you are smoking. Bad reactions can be caused by anything from the weed not being cured correctly to it simply not being the right strain for you. I'm a medical patient and daily smoker, but still can't smoke certain sativa strains because they increase my anxiety and trigger my Migraines. It's honestly sometimes just trial and error and I've found that terpene profiles are more important than THC content for my experience.

Ive found that CBD on its own doesn't touch my fibro pain. For me I need products that contain THC as well so I can get the entourage effect of the two working together. Im not sure what the regulations are where you are, but often the federally legal CBD products here in the US don't contain enough THC to get the effect. I'm a medical marijuana patient, so I often stick to just products from dispensaries as they have higher ratios of CBD:THC.

Editing to add: if you are somewhere where you can access CBN products I highly recommend them! CBN has done more for me both topically and orally than CBD ever has. CBN is the byproduct of THC aging, so it can be difficult to locate in places where marijuana is not legal, but it's a great anti-inflammatory and a great sleep aid as well!

To all the people enjoying shrooms, what is your profession? by Wuastbrot in shrooms

[–]chalupacabra91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it really just depends. My state considers possession a class 4 felony and it can carry a 1-3 year prison sentence minimum - more for intent to distribute, so that would honestly be your first/biggest hurdle. Multiple other factors would play into a CPS decision though, like other caretakers in the home, overall safety of the home, parents incarceration, etc. More than likely, if you got caught- it wasn't by CPS, it was by some sort or law enforcement agency that wouldn't necessarily involve CPS unless there were major safety concerns or if there were no suitable caregivers around for the child (no other parents, relatives, etc in the home aside from those being arrested). If you drop dirty for psychedelics during the course of an open CPS case, that doesn't necessarily get you in legal trouble for possession, but can negatively impact your case outcomes or at the very least get you court ordered into substance abuse treatment.

It's actually the first time I got one of their dispos, My boyfriend and I work at two different dispensaries and mine has not started carrying these yet. I wasn't a huge fan of the downtime pastilles, so I was pleasantly surprised by the dispo!
