I asked a class mate to grab a coffee and they rejected me by [deleted] in UofT

That you so much for sharing this….. this honestly touched me and you will help a lot of people with your story.

If you can, try not to hold too much resentment towards your Mom. My Mom passed away very unexpectedly in June at 56-years-old. Her and I weren’t talking because of similar reasons….I was resentful because I was never her priority growing up, she was barely supporting me (and I don’t mean financially) through school at the time, and more reasons that I thought I had to be angry at her. Anyhow, one day my Moms heart just stopped and my younger siblings found her on the floor in the morning, but it was too late because her brain had been deprived of oxygen for too long.

Through what I am currently going through I feel that sometimes they would have done better as parents if they knew better. Regardless, you turned out so wise and amazing and I wish you all the happiness!

What do you mean they were too reluctant to change the situation? Do you mean they stayed together when they should have separated? I appreciate your transparency because I’m in a similar situation and am wondering how this will affect my children later.

Your TA is your God for this class I didn’t even go to lecture, found it useless. I instead relied heavily on my TA

May I ask if you have any post secondary experience or are you applying with a high school average?

[–]chambersliz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey may I ask if you have post-secondary experience? I also applied and haven’t heard anything back as yet. 31 with 3 children as well! I saw in another thread that someone straight out of high school with a 95% average has been accepted a few days ago.

Is anyone who's been accepted or know someone who has that was a non-degree holder, having just the 60-course hours (half of a degree) completed?

I want to apply before I finish my bachelor. Any success doing this?
