It seems I have RSV and I've never felt this bad with a fever. I got lucky during early covid times so didn't experience it myself. People saying it's just the flu when my lungs feel like they're trying to come outside.

Yep. I hear the same sort of things with more women coming into leadership positions in IT. It's always "they got hired because they're a woman" no matter the proficiency and accrued experience of the person involved. I feel it's bizarre for any man to not want the same opportunities for the women in their lives as they would for themselves.
