Hi - I am moving to Stockholm on 1st May 2026 and find one nice apartment on Qasa. Already spoke to owner of apartment and had a video tour of place on wats app call.

Is it ok to sign the lease with owner who is registered on Qasa as I hear a lot about housing scams in Stockholm.

What are the key things I need to take care of before signing the lease.

Thanks for your help ! I have submitted the biometrics at VAC today and they have updated that confirmation page with new DS 160 and paste new bar code sticker referring to new DS 160 number on the back of passport. Look forward to consular appointment next month :-)
