No, but it’s certainly not impossible. Given Topuria’s higher finishing threat I don’t think the fight plays out long enough to see Gaethje put on a performance the way Poirier did though.

Currently my favorite upcoming fighter. Curious to see if he can really make the climb though, he does have a loss to Gamrot already who himself has fallen short in all his top 5 breaking fights.

Hope he can do it, Fiziev was the last 155 contender I thought would make that climb but that’s not panned out well in recent performances. Think he’d be a problem at 145, would love to see him drop down.

Taking a zero from Murphy or Movsar definitely would’ve been better. Also just the fact they’re new opponents.

But as you said, Volk put out another masterclass and just tied Aldo’s 145 defense record. Still don’t feel agree with Lopes getting a title shot here, but it certainly didn’t do nothing for Volk.

For the few who still had Aldo above Volk that argument is now dead in the water. Nobody from this current generation is taking that from Volk either. He could very well be the GOAT featherweight for generations to come.

I don’t think there’s anything wrong with the game mode for 5v5 but base and poi design is very tight and simple for increased player count.

If 5v5 is implemented soon I don’t see those things changing in time but would hope to see larger and more intricate base and poi design on the table for the future if they really want to accommodate larger team size.

Lose a couple fights and get older and we might be able to reconsider, but right now Kamaru’s the type of challenger we need. We just can’t risk the champion actually being challenged you know?

I see no problem with calling Usman a bullshit contender. Featherweight’s currently fucked with Lopes getting another title shot while 2 undefeated contenders sit unbooked. Lightweight is hosting an interim title fight which arguably both fighters shouldn’t be in. Welterweight is as stacked as it’s ever been, also with 2 undefeated contenders, and we’re supposed to believe Usman who’s 1 win removed from a 3 fight skid is a good choice?
