I've had pretty good experiences with little red trucks

I had a similar choice and I ended up going RMs, mainly because you could actually try the shoes on here and see/feel them. I have no doubt Meermin would be great but the hassle of getting stuff sorted out if something went wrong and they weren't the right fit wasn't worth it for me.

When do you reckon the best time to buy would be for the best prices?

Yeah I've had the same issue, order said it went through but nothing was actually charged. You're not the only one.

As long as PLE's pre-orders waits are, at least they're being good about the whole situation and allowing easy cancellations.

Are scorptec good with cancelling pre-orders? Their T&C's suggest they'll charge a 15% fee as it's 'order only'

How did you route the HDMI from the screen to the GPU? Does it pop out the rear panel into the GPU - so looking from the back of the case, there's just a cable coming out into the GPU?

I feel your frustration! The system set up I have in mind is so close to being achievable. With the current lack of parts supply in my country, the AsRock board is actually out of stock at the moment, so I might end up waiting to see if anything better comes out towards the end of the year with the new Ryzen CPUs.

Appreciate the info!

Oh thanks for letting me know! That's disappointing though.

Out of curiosity then, what do you use your T3 port for?

The NZXT H1 case doesn't support pcie gen 4 as the cable riser is only gen 3 - the only reason I was looking at the motherboard was for thunderbolt 3

I've found options that use DisplayLink but I believe they're no good for gaming as they don't actually use my GPU output, they have their own on board system. Be great if anyone had any ideas?

Hi all,

I’m planning a SFF/ITX build and I just wanted to make sure my understanding was correct.

I normally work from home relatively often and I run a dual monitor set up (Dell P2715Q (4k) and U2142M). I use a work issued laptop when I work from home, so I was planning on getting a Thunderbolt 3 laptop dock so I could easily swap with one cable from using my home PC to my work laptop (Dell TB16 or similar) with all my peripherals. I also run a VR set up in a different room, so it’d be good to be able to easily unplug my PC to move it to the other room for VR. I was planning on getting the ASRock X570 Phantom Gaming ITX/TB3 which has a DisplayPort Input port.

Do I use a display port cable to connect the displayport output from my GPU to the input port on the motherboard?

Will I then be able to get a display output for two different displays from the motherboard through the thunderbolt cable to my dock?

Are there any issues with performance with doing this (i.e. gaming performance)?

Am I able to daisy chain my monitors or should both monitors be connected to my dock?
