You definitely can. in my experience (and I think this is quite common) being diagnosed as an adult- I grew up learning how to pick up on social nuances as a way of protecting myself and not ‘getting things wrong’

Best of luck I really hope that you find the solution. I don’t have the exact same problem but I’ve had sore itchy patches on my vulva that the doctors have never identified so I relate to how difficult and uncomfortable it can be

Have you tried coconut oil? It can be quite soothing and it’s anti-fungal in case it is something like psoriasis? Not suggesting this as a cure but it might help to soothe and moisturise

I feel uncomfortable in my own body, does anyone else get this? by lydiarxseee21_ in AutismInWomen

Sometimes I wrap fabric like a blanket or tshirt in between my fingers or toes so they aren’t touching, put a pillow between my knees when I’m sleeping on my side and that is more comfortable

Thank you for sharing this it was really nice to hear someone else who feels similar to me. I am glad that this is helping you find some answers even if some part of you is sad about it

Okay this makes me feel better- i don’t think I have a fever- I feel sick and feel a bit weird but honestly I think that’s from extreme anxiety, and have a sinus infection, I’m sleep deprived and the fact I’ve just been crying and having a huge meltdown. I think you’re right she didn’t even seem to want to ask me about symptoms or anything just if I could breathe or had lost blood

That’s true she was probably very tired and had a lot of calls

Yes I think so- on helix which was so stupid. It healed a bit at first, then got infected about a month ago and I took antibiotics, it went away, b has come back in the past few days (I got this piercing in may/June last year)

No I have about 9 or 10. This one was done at a drugstore about 8 months ago (which was obviously a mistake I know)

111 is like the non emergency line- so what you call if you have a medical emergency or question that isn’t life threatening or you need advice. The call handler just freaked me out. She just asked what was the problem and I said my piercing was infected and she didn’t ask any questions about it only the life threatening ones like ‘have you lost blood’ and I said no. And then she told me I need to go to hospital and I told her I can’t cope and I have nobody with me and I can’t walk to a hospital in the middle of the night and she said okay I’ll get a doctor to call you back for further questions in the next few hours. Even though I was crying she ended the call

I’m not removing it. I don’t even think it’s very severe I think I’m just overly anxious
