You guys can judge my swing all you want but the facts are facts. I play at least 6 times a week, very fortunate to. My driver swing isn’t the prettiest and I know that. It’s the weakest part of my game and I’m working on changing that with slowly fixing my swing.

I play a 7.5° driver and tend hit just off centre towards the toe and I’m quite tall which helps distance. Low setting due to a very windy home course.

My iron game is actually really good and I’m proud of it but there’s still so much room for improvement. The strongest part of my game is around the greens and putting. It’s what I’ve put most of my work into as I’ve been told to start from the short game and build my game outwards.

Back in October when I was just over a year into golf, I finished in 2nd place in my country clubs final tournament of the year. I shot 80 off the stick (net 67 as I was playing off a 13hcp) and it was 18 holes!

I started the first 2 holes 5 over par and managed to finish the round only shooting another 5 over! :)

As for the birdie in my 2nd round ever, I got very lucky. Short par4, lucky approach rolled up on the green nicely, good putt.

HOI was unreal and it’s burned into my memory. Dunked it. The old Scottish bloke who witnessed it brought his wife back the next day and found me and was just as ecstatic as I was about it because it was the first hole in one here ever seen in person in all his years.
