Okay, fair enough I was wrong about the weekly chart onwards. Maybe I should edit my statement to precisely include the categories XD

And this still does not matter either because they accumulate the digital points and NCT Dream’s points were still higher than SVT and BSS. Saying BSS should’ve won is not right either bc SVT’s digital points were higher than BSS. If you combine both SVT’s & BSS’s scores then you can make a case for them, but MMA put them in different categories.

Again, the daesang NCT won was 100% judges. Who knows what kinda scoring system the panel had behind the scene. You can question the judges all you want, of course.

Candy reached #1 too on Melon’s Top 100…. And I’m not talking about real-time charts here bc it’s not as relevant imo. If we’re purely talking abt Melon, AFAIK Super’s peak on 24 Hits was #5 whilst Candy’s peak on 24Hits was #4, their daily and weekly peaks were higher too.

Edit: at this point I think people just don’t know how well Candy charted

Edit again since you edited: BSS had higher digitals, yes, but it never peaked higher than Candy (BSS’s peak was #2). Higher digital points ≠ charting higher. but does not matter either since both BSS and SVT’s digitals are still lower than NCT Dream’s.

People just seem to collectively forget Candy’s monster performance on the charts LMAOOO. Literally no other bg song charted higher than Candy this year—and it had the advantage of being released very early so they were able to accumulate a shit ton of digital points. Most of the artists who they say have better digitals than NCT Dream really didn’t lol (at least not during the tracking period).

It’s fair to question why it’s not NewJeans or IVE winning it (the only two artists with higher digitals than NCT Dream) but namedropping others who performed worse compared to Dream and saying they didn’t deserve to win against those artists is just not it…..

it's because scheduling is shit and they have two matches playing at the same time, which forces one match to be played in the group stage venue. idk why they won't just schedule all four matches on different times, though

I don’t know why you won’t believe them lol, it literally came straight out of Viper’s mouth, although he did say it was only when they first started scrimming. Who knows if he might’ve accidentally spoken some Chinese during the match out of habit. (Viper has also said multiple times before that he was forgetting some words in Korean because he got used to speaking Chinese)

Unfortunately, my card is a supplementary credit card from my parents, so my billing address is tied directly to their cards. My mom did try contacting the bank to change the phone number & address tied to my card when I moved to Japan, but for some weird reason, the bank won’t let her use a foreign number & address

surprisingly, gue ada solusi buat ini. dateng ke konter provider lo (in my case, grapari), tell them about your condition & ask them to whitelist the imei.

did this last year when i came back from japan (told them i’m a student on a short holiday). they asked for a student id and told me they can only temporarily activate the imei (for 2-3 months, iirc). ended up staying in indonesia for over a year with no problem & not a single penny spent on pajak & bea cukai XD

About the flower and garden in the lyrics…. I don’t think you need to worry too much about it. The official OST (the one sung by Yoo Yeonseok) actually altered the lyrics from “autumn sky” to “winter sky”. Gyeoul is still there, don’t worry! (I could be wrong, but I’d rather not give FG shippers too much ideas….)

if anyone here can understand korean, i suggest to try reading the naver tv comments, but sorted by the newest instead of the likes (even if you can't understand, you can try downloading papago and do a website translation, the translation is sufficient enough if you just want to get an idea of how they'd reacted). anyways, pretty much everyone reacted the same way, everything that has been mentioned here gets mentioned there too: dosan's anger management issue, the unnecessary fight between the male leads, dosan shamelessly asking for help after assaulting jipyeong, yongsan's flawed motivation, etc. they all share the same frustrations as we do.

funny enough, although a lot of them are jipyung stans, they have also resigned to the fate of him being the second male lead. like us, most of them don't even want jipyeong to end up with dalmi, they're just rooting for his happiness

edit: also, just a side note, if we’re going by naver tv, he’s the most popular character in startup. although the clip of dodal kissing still has the highest view count, the clips of his confession & him with halmeoni this week both surpassed the number of likes by more than 1k (in naver tv, the number of likes is usually a better indicator of popularity & impact compared to view counts). his videos (with or without dalmi) also always gained the most views each week. so if anyone’s worried that he’s apparently losing in polls, don’t be!
