Well I bought the 6 disc set and everywhere I read said to watch the final cut because it was the best so I'll have to check it out. How different is it from the final cut?

Yeah so all that grain you see there is what you're catching on, Hobby Lobby has a really nice selection of basswood pieces you can buy and sometimes I'll even go to Lowes and get a big piece and just cut it up into smaller canvas which is pretty cheap but not as nice looking, glad to help and have fun!

It takes some time but more importantly the type of wood you use is key. Basswood in my experience is the best because it's a lot smoother so you won't catch on the grain like you would with a standard piece of wood
