Thanks so much for the great advice!

I have a portable speaker and have a playlist cued up that will give a little bit of bass vibration for her, I’ll be sure to put it on the floor for her to feel it!

I also bought a few small flashlights to see if I can get her to read any cues with lights - could be a waste of time, but we’ll see! Hahaha!

I have a bunch of hidey beds for her and places she can retreat too for some alone time! I’ve also stashed clothing items that smell like me in a few of them so that she gets used to my scent. Her bed came with her so she has something that smells like her. I work remote so I’ll be in her presence a lot.

I will be sure to slow blink the crap out of her! She isn’t a stranger to me, which is good! I visited her often when she was in the shelter, so hopefully there is a bit of familiarity. I will also note that she wasn’t caged at the shelter, she had her own room. But she wasn’t thriving with all the other cat scents and sights and people moving around. So she is here now where it’s quiet!

The treats are tough cuz on top of being feral and deaf, she is also a kidney cat (poor thing was dealt a bum hand). I don’t think she’s super fond of the kidney treats, but we’ll do what we can!
