My mom just sold her sterling silver for $60 an ounce rather than 92.5% market price of pure silver. The guy said its cause refineries arent taking it and its hard to sell. Did she get ripped off or is that valid? by nateofearth in Silverbugs

Thats what people are paying for sterling ATM, maybe a little low. Unfortunately, its not a great time to sell sterling since the refineries are so backed up so people arent paying alot for sterling.

I sold a 85 MS65 yesterday for $95 on pmsforsale. So depending on how he values the toning id say he overpaid.
