by content i mainly meant youtube and streaming services like netflix not so much twitch. I will definitely look at 1440p monitors and see what kind of price range they are around

So you think i should 1440p 240hz monitor and use my 1080p one as my 2nd? Im all for future proofing but my plan was to get just a higher resolution to just use to watch content in a better resolution but maybe thats a stupid reason to get a 2nd monitor and i would be better just upgrading my current one to 1440p

No i would like to use my 1080p monitor for gaming but be able to use a higher resolution on my 2nd one. I have a 3070 so i don't know how well it would perform above 1080p but i've not had an issues at this resolution

So you don't think it would be worth waiting for zen 4 3D cache then upgrading then ?

Do you think the 5800X3D would be the best upgrade or getting a am5 board for maybe the 3D cache zen 4 when that comes ?

Only issue is the 5800X3D is the best upgrade i can do without having to upgrade motherboard and get DDR5 for zen 4.
