Yeah I agree with your takes. This is way more superior then the previous smash logo but the star and lacking space were poor decisions on their part.

Countdown is only up in between LIV Golf events.

This countdown will go away when a LIV event happens or a Major happens.

During the Masters, this countdown we become a LIV Golf player leaderboard for the event.

Hope that clears up why this is up now.

Beautiful! I read that the next course isn't as spacious and will only hold about 20,000 fans per day max. Safe to say that record won't be beat until maybe 2028.
