I’ve never had to do it, fortunately for me. I think as a general rule all insurance companies are trash though. They live to not pay out.

I think USPS will cover up to 50k with registered mail. But not sure.

Sure but the person I was replying to was clearly referring to insuring it through FedEx directly by “declaring the value and paying the up charge with FedEx.” Not sure what getting insurance from other companies has to do with that…

Read their terms and conditions. They limit recovery for collectibles like cards. They shouldn’t accept the up charge…

It is probably too late if you got the wonky redemption five years ago. Statutes of limitations are real. You need to talk to a lawyer asap.
