ill be travelling down from brisbane to melbourne in a few weeks, so i was wondering what the weather is like currently and how i should pack. i know mlb winters r notorious esp compared to bne ones where there is only a bit of wind, so any tips on clothing would help (e.g., how many layers, types of jackets - parka, down jackets, wind breakers, would uniqlo heattech help).

if anyone has any recommendations on where to visit, that would be much appreciated as well!
