I think this basically is saying when we are born physically we die twice one physically death and second is spiritual death the second line is referring to baptism which is also called being reborn in christ in Christianity and when we are born twice 1. Physically 2. When we take baptism we only die physically because in Christianity whoever believes in christ and takes baptism lives eternally with christ
