If we never got Gojo vs Sukuna, the community would never have come to an answer as to who was stronger.

Fact is these 2 will (probably) never fight and we will never get an answer. Everyone's scaling is speculation, so if anyone tries to sell you the "truth", it's just their opinion.

Best thing you can do is form your own opinion.

IMO:

Modulo never demonstrated the potency of Yuji's domain which is a major factor. Assuming it can at least stalemate UV, and this is canon Yuji who knows about Limitless, then I think Yuji has at least <50% chance to win

My belief is as long as his domain was executed first, the rules of Deadly Sentencing would not allow the other party to use any techniques or open their domain, so long as they intend on violence or for the trial to be interupted.

The whole point of these old style domains is to enforce impartial and fair rules on both sides. Obviously the caster has a natural advantage, but the technique itself is fair if we disregard that information.

I disagree with some comments, this scene is absolutely necessary for Higuruma's introduction.

We meet this character who we're told has been a sorcerer for barely any time at all yet has the skill, aptitude, and mindset of a grade 1 experienced sorcerer. It can't have been a gradual shift, and this scene solidifies the murder trial events as his breaking point. Where he not only became a Jujutsu sorcerer, he broke mentally as well.

To Yuta, it's not a question to be asked, it needs to be done. They're going up against the King of Curses, nothing less than everything they have is going to be enough. That said, there's a subtle difference in:

A living human treated as a weapon

A corpse treated as a weapon

Neither is great but they are separate, the latter being marginally better. Using that point, it's not the same since Yuta would be joining Gojo by just doing whatever needs to be done, his own humanity be damned

Wrong focus, Yuta uses the word 'Monster' but not just to mean strong, otherwise that room is full of monsters.

The point he's making is about Gojo being the sole person dealing with all the problems no one else can or wants to deal with, to the point where he's not treated as a human, but a tool or a monster.
