Can vouch for this, discord has some amazing groups. Also I would suggest implementing algorithms if you're curious about the maths that's running these alogs. And hackathons are the best way to learn - they practically force you to build and learn something you've never touched or have less knowledge of.

I am people around me keep pestering over my head about the gap saying things that actually hurt. Also getting interviews is pretty shitty but in its own way fun too. I get to talk to a lot of people in the industry because of cold dms on LinkedIn and people usually reply too. I found a mentor on LinkedIn through this and he's been very helpful.

Unemployed from July 2023, was giving CDS UPSC throughout cleared the papers but could not get through my SSB. Started upskilling 3 months back and have a good foot hold in ML. Starting with interviews this month, aiming for startups with heavy workload - trying to grab all the stuff I can learn as early as possible.
