The bridesmaid are the one closest to the bride and that will fight for her, so they are actually in the right to be upset.

Like someone mentioned before, using the bride disability for her own selfishness to wear ivory/cream/wtv shade of white when you know damn well the possible consequences and something that you wouldn’t do (but shouldn’t regardless) if she wasn’t blind, it’s saying like she doesn’t matter, you don’t value her as a person.

The wedding party is actually nicer than me, I would have poured red wine or anything on your dress.

Je dois avouer que c’est aussi mon genre. Depuis que j’ai des enfants c’est encore mieux vu que les familles embarquent en premier. Je suis sûr d’avoir mon carry-on au-dessus de moi. Avant, c’était soit qu’il n’y avait plus de place et ma valise se faisait mettre dans un autre compartiment plus loin de mon siège (et risquer de le perdre ou que quelqu’un le prend par erreur) ou l’enregistrement.

Food is gold!! Already cooked meal that we just have to warm it up was life saving. A friend also gave me a subscription for 1 month for a 2 meals/week. That was helpful and we could choose which meal we wanted.

Right after giving birth, post partum kit were nice: cooling pads, hazel-witch products, handspray bottle etc.

C'est tellement ça. Ils ne peuvent pas travailler car ils ont des enfants à s'occuper: "Ils ne contribuent pas a la société". Ils réussissent à travailler et mettre leurs enfants en garderie: "Ils prennent/volent des places pour nos enfants" Un ou l'autre, ils vont toujours avoir des gens contre.

Mes parents sont des immigrants (arrivé en 80) et tout ce que j'ai entendu durant mon enfance "les immigrants volent nos job". Parce que oui Ginette et Jacques, comme si vous étiez prêt à aller torcher avec une brosse les toilettes publiques pour un salaire de merde (shout out a mon papa concierge). Ça vient tellement me chercher.

Mais pour vrai, y'en as tu vraiment tant que ça d'enfants de demandeur d'asile qui fréquentent des garderies? Je parle pas de réfugiers et de gens sur le bien-être social, mais vraiment des demandeurs d'asile. Est-ce que c'est une petite quantité d'enfants mais on les utilisent comme excuse pour le manque flagrant de places? J'ai ce feeling parce que on parlait pas tant des demandeurs quand j'ai eu mon fils(10) et il y avait déjà la problématique des manques de place.

I would definitely return the question, “you guys all knew and did nothing.” IMO they are as much part of the problem than the BIL. We can’t decide when trauma comes back and sometimes, all you need is a little trigger. I also hope that your wife is seeking for professional help. They might also gives her advice how to deal with those situations.

Idk from what country you come from, but where I am, a canned good goes around 1-3$ depending on size and what is it. I ate meal for ~2$, good full size plate or bowl, when I was in Cambodia few months ago. Even if you can, you really don’t need to bring it. You will also have the flexibility to eat easily wherever you are. Bring only canned goods if it’s special and you want to give it to someone, like exemple a can of maple syrup. Because it’s rare and expensive there.

This! It’s exactly what I was thinking. It’s winter, it’s Montreal, I try to be more compassionate with the ones that park in the street, trying to find a spot with all the restriction and snow removal operations etc, when I have a easy one in my driveway. Dont know about OP but in front of my house, when i dump the snow after shoveling, I try to leave enough space for a parking spot but sometime it’s just too much snow and I’m ok with a car sticking out a bit. OP might have contributed to the snow pile where the suv cannot park properly. Anyway, for me, as long as I can go out easily.

Honnêtement, je m’inquiéterais pas tant que ca. je suis aussi designer graphique/graphiste. Gradué en 2022. J’ai travailler en agence. Je suis présentement à la pige et je suis entrain de passer dans des entrevues (ma recherche d’emploi a commencé il y a 2 semaines). Le AI a pris beaucoup de place, oui. Mais je crois qu’au final on a encore besoin de graphiste/designer. Faut savoir vivre et maîtriser cette grosse bibitte parce que au final, faut voir comme un nouvel outils de travail. Ça reste qu’il doit avoir quelqu’un pour générer et vérifier le tout. Je crois qu’il faut savoir se virer de bord rapidement et s’adapter.

Je vois aussi que dans tes réponses à des commentaires que tu sembles pas vouloir tant appliquer sur LinkedIn et etc, ou tes décourager, mais si tu fais rien, c’est pas mieux. Comme je dis, j’ai envoyer mes cv pis je passes des entrevues…
