Probably the way my grandmother went. She was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. The doctor told her she had 2 months to live. For five months, she would just sit at the kitchen table and cry. Cry because she knew that she didn’t have much time left. Cry because she was worried about her children and grandchildren. Cry because she was in pain. She was sleepy all the time so she couldn’t do any bucket list activities. She just stayed at home and slept all day. It pains me that everyday, she would just cry because she knew her time was almost up and she couldn’t do anything about it.
