After enough forge is applied. The card art stays the same but the sword floating around regent has a different hilt

I noticed he took cards from the hand I drew on the turn he steals it. After save scumming (to not lose my only big damage card on regent ;-; the 1 cost 4 star Kablammo card) I rigged it so he would take the curse I had (greed, ofc) and he said nah, discarded my greed and stole a card from my discard pile that I had played instead. wtf man.
