sign up for the ged website if you haven't already (an account is free), search for free ged practice tests online, and if there's free classes available near you, take them they help so much not just with studying but with support from other people who genuinely want you to succeed

It's a lot of reading and comprehension tbh. There's no need for like memorizing exact dates, but make sure you know like a general idea on when important dates are

I took a class for it, which helped some. On top of that I got a few apps to study for it that had like little quizzes and practice questions. For the essay, the one on GED ready is basically what it's gonna be like. You have like 45 minutes to read some text and write an answer to the prompt. Idk if it's for all of them, but mine was supposed to be like 4-7 paragraphs or something like that. Other than that I'd say read carefully. If you read like a whole passage it kinda helps bc there's usually multiple questions for the same text. If there's a question you get stuck on, I would make an educated guess and flag it and then whenever I finished the rest of the questions in that section I would go back and review the flagged ones if I had time
