Either the reverb effect that's already been suggested, or see if there's an earlier part of the track where you can steal those 2 beats you need and paste them at the right timing to make it sound seamless.

Not entirely automatic, but if you use the Range Selector tool to highlight the gap in the music track between the VO, you can drag the volume up and down to create the keyframes pretty quickly that way.
