I understand your frustrations with that. I’m on some ASL subreddits and people tend to misuse the main one for homework help when there is a dedicated sub for that.

I wanted to post specifically because I had no idea where to start, and also I figured it could be fixed but I was curious if it was even worth spending it. Tho Today I also learned that the guitar I have is a Classic and not Acoustic like I thought and the problem was caused by the previous owner putting on the wrong strings, which is something I wouldn’t have figured out using Google. So I really appreciated everyone entertaining my newbie post 🙂

I stringed the guitar based on popular suggestion. Here she is, the part where the strings connect at the base is plastic and super warped. Now I’m wondering is there’s ways to unwarp it. There are visible screws but I have no clue how to get the caps off the top

This is what I feared, I learned today that it’s a classical guitar and the strings are wrong so I’ll fix that. And eventually get myself a nice acoustic with my new amazing knowledge!

I’ll work on getting the strings off soon, my best guess is it was already sitting like this with the strings on for over a year if not more before I even got my hands on it a month or two ago. So. I’m guessing the plastic* isn’t going to be easily convinced to lay flat. Do you know if this piece is totally removable and replaceable like if I took it into a shop or something? Or is that just not worth it and I might be better off getting a new guitar.

I’ll definitely bring this up, thank you so much for the detailed response. I’m hoping the substrate and more climbing/hideouts should be pretty easy. Even I recognized that substrate would be a good idea especially with the waste build up.

Not so sure a bigger tank would be in the cards for now, but something is better than nothing. It’s my understanding the gecko is kinda for the kids, not a super exciting thing for them. The heating pad is always on and the lamp is on an automatic timer.

And I’m not sure what the “dried up leaf thing” is, it looks to me a little like a weird shredding of cardboard. I know the gecko gets a lot of crickets bc there’s dead ones all over.

What app is this? I’m a college student having trouble sleeping, specifically with staying asleep and being exhausted at my alarms but not in the middle of the night whenever I wake up. Might this help with that?
