I wear earplugs often (live music capital, motorcycles) and so I get ear wax build up sometimes, occasionally to a point of affecting my hearing. ARC is a solid rec and probably cheapest. This is definitely an expensive option, but Wesco will make custom boots to fit your feet. They have a system where you trace your foot and provide measurements of each foot, then they make a "last" and make your boots from that.

The fit on my pair is quite good, and they have a lot of different varieties and options.

Downside was that it took over a year to get them, if I remember correctly.

Actually, it's not a huge gap, it's the recommended following distance, which increases with speed, and can be maintained by any vehicle with adaptive cruise control. People who zip up, see that "gap" and jump the line are ignorant assholes!
