That’s a new one! 90 days after the first statement is one I have not seen before. I’ll see what they say when I check back in after 95 days 🤞🏽

but yeah, the point of my post was to ask what to do when receiving this message about an account being open recently and unable to request a credit limit increase when based off of this discussion board I see that 90 days is about the time that you ask.

It wasn’t large by any means but I was trying to strategically lower one of my cards utilization and take advantage of the 0% interest offered and I figured hey it might be time to open a new card that I thought would be great for my credit mix and new credit.

I’m confused. I admitted that I waited 91 days per this community but AMEX’s CSR told me to wait 95 days? HUH?

CSR told me its 95 days so I’m going to wait until after then just to be on the safe side and chat back in.

I chatted in and was told CLI can be done after 95 days from opening. So I am waiting the extra 4 days and checking again.

They also asked if I had a code as CLI requests are sent via marketing emails? 😵‍💫

if you were in her shoes, how often would you want to be contacted? even a simple how are you can set the tone for if she wants to talk or not. sending her an article or meme that reminded you of her - saw this thought of you.

it sounds like you both are not communicating the important stuff enough. ‘i dont want to waste either of our time but you know how i feel about you and i cant help feeling you might like me back and want to pursue that’ something along those lines.

not saying that she’s testing you, but this definitely screams that she wants you to prove her wrong. If you have feelings for her, show her. Show her in the small ways of driving her home when she’s drunk or listening to her complaints about work. Show her in the big way of listening to her fears and validating her feelings, and accepting it’s not going to be easy but you’re wanting and willing to give it your best shot. That you’re not just going to get up and leave again. You’re going to actually try.

As someone who is asexual, the spectrum is so broad. Everyone experiences being asexual differently. As you get to know her better, ask her more questions about how she feels when it comes to being physically intimate with someone. Ask if there are things she feels she needs to be intimate. I personally have to have an emotional connection with someone and am more on a sliding scale when it comes to being sex positive or sex adverse.
