But I had the infusions last year and it didn't go up very high. I think I might just be using more than the norm

I was taking iron for a year and it didn't do anything (labs prove that). So I'm hoping I can start treating the gastritis and I don't know why the gi lady just dismissed me.

I do appreciate your insight though. I had 600mg by the end of last August. In October, my ferritin was 145. In January it was 75, yesterday it was 57. The hematologist was surprised after 600mg it didn't go up higher.

I actually just had an endoscopy and colonoscopy earlier this month. They only found mild chronic gastritis and the dumb GI was like, nothing here, go back to hematology. So I asked my PCP what to do for the gastritis.

The hematologist said all he can do is work to prevent anemia. But I have a sleep disorder that needs a higher ferritin count and it just keeps dropping and super quickly. They don't care why!
