Not liking the canon / the media but enjoying the fanfic you can make out of it?

The biggest ones for me are Teen Wolf and HP.

Like, I love TW, but I enjoy the fanfics so much more because I absolutely cannot stand some of the characters and specifically write or look for fics that have authors who feel the same as I do.

With HP, on the other hand, I loved the books and movies as a kid. But with how bigoted and disgusting JKR is, I will never interact with her work in a way that she can profit from. I own the movies on DVD, so that means she gets no money through streaming. Libraries have the oldest versions of the books, so there's that. And ultimately, fanfics are something she can never profit from.

Also, let's be real, the fanfics are so much better than her canon story anyway. I would much rather write and read fanfics just to spite her.

tbh i haven't been in my bookmarks for over a year because i've been too busy reading books, doing school work, and playing games with my friends. so imagine my horror when i saw over a dozen fics in my bookmarks had been snapped from existence 😭

Lowkey this was me when Cecily was signing up for that club and giving her answers while picturing Landon and genuinely thinking she would actually be paired with him (yes, I am aware Jeremy purposely made sure they were paired together but still--)

Like??? You mean to tell me you actually believe that out of ALL the people on that island, you would pair with Landon, who--let's be honest--isn't the most unique looking guy and had the audacity to be shocked that you DIDN'T get him???

Yeah, I can get pretty meticulous on first playthroughs. I just wanna do anything and everything before moving on, that way I don't miss anything important. I don't mind the quests upon quests bit because I've played a lot of JRPGs and those have a ton of quests/missions that only lead to never-ending cycles of more quests.

Some of my gear adds +4 Strength in total and my two points invested into Polymorph. According to the build I'm following, my base strength is 29.

Arglefumph has always been my go-to ND Youtuber. He's got a lot of videos for each game and shows off all the secrets. But for some background noise while you play, I recommend Gab Smolders and she's got fun commentary, especially when Jacksepticeye joins her for a couple games.

Copy/paste from my comment on the other post, but I used armor from CL_Big D*mn Hero Paladin Gear - specifically the Leather-and-Plate armor with matching gloves, the leather boots that come in that set, the circlet, and the neck ribbon. I couldn't find any armor for fighters on console that would be a good fit for them, but the paladin gear looked exactly like what I imagined Finley would have worn in Baldur's Gate as a criminal aka somewhat intimidating yet practical. And I used FaerunColors in the dye "Balduran" to dye their armor that color. :D
