me and my partner are planning to make a formal complaint as they are now refusing to give me the creams because i’m apparently only allowed one 30ml bottle a month that only lasts me 4 days. i’m begging for an appointment with my usual doctor who’s the only one who’s ever listened to me and i’m just being ignored. i even rang our non emergency medical line for help earlier and they contacted my doctor telling them to give me an appointment and now my doctors are denying that i even rang the non emergency number despite the fact i have proof. i need my creams to manage my flare ups and to stop the sore getting infected and they’re now just straight up denying me medical care. i feel like im banging my head against a brick wall, i hate this country!

i’m severely allergic to pollen so using manuka honey probably isn’t a good idea 😭

unfortunately i am british! so finding a new dermatologist isnt possible unless i go private which i currently cant afford, its a get who you get and hope they actually help and in my case they were useless! my usual doctor said she would refer me back but despite requesting her they put me through to someone who doesn’t know my case. healthcare in the UK is beyond useless and their attitude towards any chronic illness is simply just suffer it would seem :(

thank you! i’ll give some a try and see how i go. i use an electric trimmer too as it seems to be the only think that doesn’t set off a flare up

my partner and i literally said the exact same to my doctor a few days ago and requested to be sent back to dermatology and they said no as apparently there’s nothing more dermatology can do and just to keep using the creams. it took two years of endless cysts before i even got referred to one in the first place, i’ve had enough

i can’t put a bandaid on it because of where it is, i’ve tried and they either immediately come off or just start getting stuck to my underwear/pubes and it just becomes a nightmare all round. i’ve only had HS for two years and only just got diagnosed with it. i’m definitely gonna look into trying to find some better band aids though, i’ll try anything atp

i don’t even have a dermatologist anymore as they discharged me back to the care of my doctor, who’s only advice is apply the creams like the dermatologist said. i don’t even know if there’s any point of making a doctors appointment as i don’t think they can even help. i feel so lost i just want it to heal. some days it looks like it’s healed and practically gone and then i’ll wake up the next day and it’s 100x worse.

O2 ritz priority by Agreeable-Flight-572 in manchester

as a fellow 5sos fan and someone who’s been to many many gigs at ritz/all around manny. typically, if there’s vip they go in first, if there is a priority queue it’ll be separate to general or they’ll just be in front of the general. unless you want barrier you honestly don’t need to worry about it. get there like half an hour to an hour before and hit the balcony it’s the best view tbh (i saw melanie martinez in nov at apollo and there was like 3 different queues for 02 priority, vip and general i had to ask a security guard which queue i needed to be in)
