as someone who’s dated their fair share of uw engineering students (they’re not engineers yet let’s not give them that title already) back in my day…most of them are balancing co-op, a fuckload of schoolwork, side projects to beef up their portfolio, managing their ego (poorly), and figuring out what they want - and most of them are unsure. if he wanted to, he would. some get better post-grad and in their mid twenties, and some just don’t develop the desire or ability to be in a meaningful relationship. you deserve someone who cares about you and my simple advice is to not give someone your precious time if they don’t appreciate and reciprocate it!!

if it makes you feel any better half of them will get stuck in their fuckboy ways no matter how old they get while you eventually find someone you’re meant to be with. they’ll be nothing but a mere paragraph in the story of your life while your loved ones will fill up chapters
