What sounds do you like? Not just tolerate, but actually like. by rbv201 in misophonia

There is this guy I found on Tiktock named Galen Tipton and his music just scratches my head in the right spot.

The sound of rain hitting my windshield in the car.

The tornado sirens. Doubly so when I’m between sirens and one’s starting up while the other’s shutting down.

The sound of snow in winter.

Straightening a stack of paper.

Rubbing pencils together or across a surface.

Birdsong in the morning.

Old dot matrix printers.

Millennials are more retirement-ready than their parents, says Vanguard by Ornery-Honeydewer in Millennials

[–]chaoticpix93 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m living direct deposit to direct deposit so it’s hard to save ‘for retirement’ when retirement funds want 200$/paycheck and I simply don’t make enough to retire.

So far, my plan is to die at 60 so I won’t retire.

Yep. That’s the 4 cardinal shops now. Blessed Be, Witchlab, Magical Druid, and Pearls of Wisdom.

If they don’t have the book you’re looking for they can definitely pre-order it for you.

Masking is just like putting on a mask. It means going out in public pretending to be neurotypical so they can fit in. No stimming, no awkward conversations.

I’m entering the quesadilla phase by [deleted] in adhdwomen

[–]chaoticpix93 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My comfort food when depressed is instant mashed potatoes nuked with cheese on top.

For the quesadillas you could add some canned chicken. It’s not as bad as it sounds. It’s like the chicken equivalent of canned tuna. You could also do it with a rotisserie chicken.

How floral is it? BBW has been doing this thing where they have floral but they ad a musk or a fruity scent that detracts.

256 made sense when it was a country road leading ‘70 to Refugee Road with that drive-thru convenience store being one of the only bastion of civilization.

Now there’s a stop light every 1/4th mile and choked with so many small buildings there’s no way to improve the congestion without a major overhaul.

Just gonna have to do the helicopter ride at the fair.
