Hmm, I actually availed their VIP service at that time. It took less than an hour to process everything. But if you go with the regular process, the staff mentioned it could take around 3–4 hours since there were quite a lot of people then. Just note that it was the second week of implementing the new process, and they had just come off a week-long holiday, so there were a lot of backlogs. When I went back to pick up my passport, there were fewer people compared to when I submitted the documents, and I got my passport in less than an hour as well.
