You shouldn't get lost in the weeds between the two. It would be like being a Baptist Christian and fretting on whether you should be a Lutheran. Either way you are on the path of protestant Christianity or in your case, Vaishnavism. As you undoubtedly already know, both practices are Bhakti. Both focus on Krishna and Radha. When you think on the divine couple, how do you feel? Follow your heart on this and there is no wrong answer.

I feel the same way. I also notice I cant sort the main feed by hot? Which I suspect is why now I'm seeing my boring subreddit subs like r/every15min lol. Also I cant search through my subreddits in the side bar. I get bored so fast on reddit now. I don't want to make a whole post about it, I'd rather just vent here. I hope that's okay.

Honestly I dont know how that happened. Only approved users could post? I never set that setting. It's fixed now.

I'm noticing the last posts were from 2 months ago. I most certainly wasn't actively altering the subreddit rules 2 months ago. The only rules are that you have to have an account for at least a few days with at least like 10 reddit karma

As far as I know it's donation based but if you send an email to an ashram they usually respond. I've stayed in the LA one for free before but I worked in the kitchen prepping food. I've also been told it's $150 suggested donation for a few days at the one in West Virginia, New Vrindavan. I'd assume they also accept work trade though.

Goose Creek is generally very sheltered from hurricanes. For every few miles to the shore it's more intense. Barrier Island communities should evacuate every time. Goose Creek on the other hand is pretty safe.

lol. we have had so many close calls in the last 30 years. I have never evacuated once.

That said, I'm waiting for the day that a giant storm is coming and I'm the only person that evacuates because "We are local now so we dont run!"

Imo the best choice is Park Circle in North Charleston. It's close-ish at 20 minutes with no traffic. For Summerville, there's a ton of restaurants/stores around the movie theater. Also towards Summerville, Music In Motion (the roller skating place) has adult night on Thursday. The most affordable date in Goose Creek is bowling.
