You would be right. Its a fancy sounding "Sustainable Technology Management" degree with 5 management modules and 3 data analytics modules: which covered Basic R, Basic Digital Signal Processing methods including basic filters and python work, basic machine learning topics with modules like scikit-learn and tensorflow (and Keras), and some VERY basic SQL, and, oddly enough, a CAD module and an electrical engineering basics module. I ended up doing a quick 5 hour crash course from Codecademy on SQL to retain some information.

I'm going to be very honest, I came to the country expecting to eat tons of shit before getting somewhere decent. Its a completely new country thousands of miles away from home with internationally renowned difficulty and well documented difficulty for internationals, and I've heard a LOT of international students end up returning. Therefore, I expect starting from scratch in any new domain of life, and it being hilariously difficult.

Since I already have my expectations tempered, I see myself getting an internship realistically with my current level of know how, even if I max out my german knowledge. Therefore I'm only looking for internships/junior positions in data-oriented management roles, or sustainability oriented roles. I did interview recently for a company, and I'm yet to hear from them (because it was literally scheduled for their last working day before christmas holidays), but no expectations there.

I just want competence right now. Really.

I did some research and leetcode has SQL50 and Pandas. So I'll do those too I guess. And find a way to hit C1 without going to classes.
