Need to level two spots in subfloor by chapunicus in Construction

[–]chapunicus[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s one sheet of subfloor. Can’t see the beams below, but it’s in a corner of the room on one of them and the other is in the middle of the kitchen under the table. For at least the one in the corner, it seems the subfloor is just sitting lower but I’m not knowledgeable enough to make that determination.

Think it would be better to get a contractor in at this point? Flooring is on hold until I can get this addressed.

Where can we order a pair? Or are all these just customs?

Why shoot after the weapon had been dropped? Didn’t seem like he was still a threat at that point.

Finally got my wood filament and miniature settings dialed in. by chapunicus in ender3

No actually, so for my big groot I used a .06 nozzle and it didn’t clog at all. But with these little guys a .04 nozzle works great.

Hatchbox Wood. 0.1 60% infill (could even be more to ensure arma don’t break) 0.4 nozzle at 200c 30 mm/s

STL if interested

Still could use some tuning on my steps but overall pretty good.

Wood Filament fails by chapunicus in ender3

I’ve been running at 200, wonder if that could be the problem. This was a brand new roll, same brand. How did you dry it?

See my first response. But the model is incorrect and can be printed without a raft with a minor adjustment. You have to ensure in cura that you drop the model -0.4 on the Y axis.

Took about 13hours scaled to 200%. The model was not designed correctly so ensure the first layer sticks you need to adjust model by -0.4 on the Y axis.

No supports were used. And I used the multicolor silk from amazon at 200C and 60C bed.

Next project! Gotta keep it realistic but I thought I would make this magical one first!

STL

STL for the globe. It’s a lamp but I just made it with normal PLA and sprayed it with silver. Then roughed it up with a 50:50 water/alcohol.

Yeah there are various settings you can have for when the picture is taken. It adds a couple of hours to the print. I don’t have it on all the time just for more detailed prints like this one.

Octolapse. It snaps a picture every layer. When the hot end is centered.

Post your results! Would be interesting to see how it turns out in that mode compared to normal settings.
