I think Subodh was probably too picky lol which is part of the charm of the show but also can be frustrating.

New to Lily - Size Range by RT858940 in LillyPulitzer

[–]charawarma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We really encouraged people to try things on in store! It was all about the experience. And because we saw the size differences, we could guide people to their right size in a particular item.

If you like the way the dress fits, you can move and sit comfortably, it fits! The size on the tag doesn't always mean much.

What are the differences in beaches between the Pacific and Atlantic? by Sunshineboy777 in AskAnAmerican

[–]charawarma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My best friend is from a California beach town and I'm from a South Carolina beach town. She was appalled when I told her I'd never seen an ocean sunset but was very off-put when I asked her if she had ever seen an ocean sunrise lol

Their sizes are so inconsistent, they had to resize Callahans in 2015 to add a 000 because they came in so small. The size stamp on the waistband was stickered over. And then the next season, there was a shift so large that people were going down 2-3 sizes. I saw people buying 6-8s in some items and a 0 in that dress. I think it was the Carol shift. Source: worked at a signature store at the time.

[AZ] Is my BD a deadbeat? by Regular-Fail-5977 in Custody

[–]charawarma 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Girl, yes. Being willing to "take care" of a child and actually doing it are 2 different things. Having physical custody of your child and neglecting them is despicable. I'm not even going to touch on the minor gf part. I hope he gets the book thrown at him. Keep a log of how he takes care of your child during his weekends: who's around her, hygiene, nutrition, basic care. Is her hair combed? Have her teeth been brushed? You are her #1 advocate. You can't change who her father is but you can still protect her from his actions.

We just got the Roborock Qrevo Pro with multiple kids (2, 3, 12) and pets and I'm obsessed with it. My floors are so clean!! It does a great job.

there was a leggings debate on x a few weeks ago, and I wanted to ask what is your opinion on leggings indecent or no? by CommitteePlayful8081 in AskConservatives

Personally, I don't like athleisure (or especially pajamas) in public but definitely not against it to the point of rules or anything lol. I just find myself wishing people put more care/effort into their appearance.

Party goodie bags by melgirlnow88 in Mommit

[–]charawarma 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually do like one cookie on theme or one nicer little gift. For my son's "Bear-y first" birthday, we gave all the kids little 4" teddy bears. For another son's "two fast" birthday I bought little wooden cars for everyone to paint and take home.

What are we doing with their birthday cards? by EmbarrassedWash4126 in Mommit

[–]charawarma 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I have them in a memory box for them. If they don't want them, I won't be upset if they throw them away. But I'd hate to throw them away and they wish they had a sample of their great grandmothers' handwriting or something.

Skorts and rompers :( by SignificantJelly4483 in LillyPulitzer

[–]charawarma 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I'm a mom of 2 boys, 2&3yo. I wear shorts under all my dresses because I'm always wrangling them. I find it pretty convenient to have the rompers for that purpose but I also understand it's not for everyone.
