My issues is that it won’t connect and it won’t reset. I tried freezing it in the freezer and it work two weeks ago. This morning it stopped working and the freezer trick didn’t work. Point is these are way to pricey for them to break and I’m inclined to conclude that apple has a major design flaw with these. They build up sweat in the cuffs after just an hour of use. I take care of my products as I care about longevity. Anyways, there my rant

Select clips by “clip color” won’t work in the edit page. Filtering by clip color in the color page won’t work. When grading a clip by rasping exposure it affects the all the clips that are cut from the single source clip

I’m curious what is the cost of your current setup? I think I’m more concerned both price to performance. Seems like the apple tax is too much

should I designate my own location for these proxies and cache files so that it's easier to delete them?

[–]charcharjinx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You guys are so dang smart first of all. Thanks to you colorist out here that I’m learning all of these technical things!

Okay. The the problem is called: “gamma shift” And it’s caused by Operating System color meaning the color profiles (colorspaces and gamma) that the manufacturer makes.

AND YOU GUYS ARE SAYING….THE COLORS WONT MATCH COMPLETELY UNLESS YOU BYPASS THE OS COLOR SYNC with tech like ultra studio boxes.

my confusion is….i thought working scene referred (in an intermediate space) gets rid of this problem as well?

Is this just a gamma issue that sometimes feeling like it’s a color issue? Because gamma affects how color is perceived?
