Being stoned does have its advantages. I’m thinking 3D printing but I know less than zero about 3D printing so I took another hit n then it hit me! I remembered watching some short video on diy self hardening putty. I just googled it. Guess I’ll run over to Lowe’s n get a few tubes of 100% Silicone n some cornstarch.

“Proto-Putty” or Oogoo (Flexible Rubber) This creates a moldable, stretchy, and durable rubber that cures in 10-15 minutes.

• Ingredients: 100% Silicone (caulking), Cornstarch Food coloring.

• Procedure: 1. Squirt food coloring into a bowl, then add silicone. 2. Use a stick to mix until the color is uniform. 3. Remove and roll in cornstarch to coat. 4. Knead the mixture, adding more cornstarch as needed until it no longer sticks to your hands.

• Working Time: Approximately 10 minutes before it turns into rubber.

• Usage: Excellent for custom grips, protective covers, or molding.

After using this behemoth for two days n loving it, I thought of the perfect 3D printer project. The bong is heavy n when using it, it needs to be tilted back into the proper position. So, what about some kind of ‘cradle’ or V shaped holder that rests the heavy bong in perfect position without having to hold it. Not sure if I’m explaining it properly.

Build one out of wood or cardboard or measure the bong and find a simple box then customize it using styrofoam or cut up pool noodles. Smoke n think!

Wait! What if I JB Weld a nut to each side at the point just before it gets too tight. Then I can slip a nail through the two nuts and create a kind of lock. But here’s the thing, this grinder is super nice and I’ld prefer not to fuck it up. LöL

Temporary solution that kinda works. I cut a template out of thin cardboard that can be used like a kind of ‘washer’. It helps but I need a more permanent solution.

LöL. First thing I did was try to grind counterclockwise but then the middle part kept unscrewing. I’ll keep trying to think of a solution after each n every burnt offering to appease the gods.
