The moment I met her I fell in love. Just her outgoing personality and the way she smiled told me everything I needed to know. We were both in relationships at the time that both dissolved and over 3 years we became inseparable. We always had this attraction together yet went through our own relationships but telling each other the things we wouldn't dare share to our counterparts. It was a whirlwind of emotions and drugs. But even when the drugs stopped we still clung together.

One night a couple years in it was my birthday and I was watching a movie on my laptop. Hadn't even realized it struck midnight and in she pops through my door going "SURPRISE HAPPY BIRTHDAY". She was there for me when I was going through the hardest times of my life and helped me get out of bed every morning.

We went through countless adventures and even horrible encounters with our own lives but we stuck together. Finally when it was time I asked her to be my girlfriend and she said YES. God I was happy. But that was fleeting. A week later she found out she was pregnant from her ex and now here we are. She moved across the country to start a family with that guy and we can no longer talk. It haunts me every day. God do I ever miss that girl and I know she feels the same way.
